Republication Print version

MYMEDIA is a strong supporter of the work done by the NGO Media Development Foundation (MDF) launched by the iv Post in 2014 - check out the possibilities for YOU to work with MDF:

Within the year of operating, MDF has trained over 200 journalists through projects. Over 35 newsrooms around Ukraine hosted young journalists for paid internships, and over 2000 media professionals got involved with MDF.

Media Development Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded by Kyiv Post journalists. The main goal of MDF is to improve Ukrainian journalist’s profession through 3 main activities: investigative journalism, specialized trainings and journalism exchanges.

MDF has several projects so far: Journalism Exchange Program (JEP), funded by MYMEDIA, is the biggest one. The program provides young journalists from different regions of Ukraine and former Soviet Union countries with professional development through paid internships in the leading newsrooms of Ukraine. During the year of the programs existence, more than a thousand people applied for the program, and more than a hundred used their chance.

Mezhihirya Fest is an annual conference for investigative journalists, supported by MDF, MYMEDIA and other donors. The festival has become the continuation of the Yanukovich Leaks investigative project. The event annually gathers over 300 journalists, editors and civic activists from all over the world.
